Welcome to Aces Academy.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aces Academy website, courses, learning materials, student portal, mentorship services and related services available through https://academy.acesdigital.tech.
Aces Academy is a programme operated by Aces Digital (“Aces Academy,” “Aces Digital,” “we,” “us” or “our”).
By visiting our website, creating an account, enrolling in a course, making a payment or accessing our learning materials, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. About Aces Academy
Aces Academy provides online training in WordPress, artificial intelligence, web design, digital skills and related subjects. Depending on the course or package selected, our services may include:
Self-paced video lessons;
Live online classes;
Downloadable resources;
Practical projects;
Recorded class replays;
Mentorship or instructor support;
Student communities;
Temporary hosting or domain access;
Certificates of participation or completion; and
Other educational resources described on the relevant course page.
The exact features included in your enrolment will be those displayed on the course or checkout page at the time of purchase.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our paid services.
If you are under 18 years old, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before creating an account, enrolling in a course or making a payment.
Our services are not knowingly directed at children under 13 years old. A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use our services is responsible for the minor’s activity and compliance with these Terms.
3. Account registration
Some services require you to create a student account.
You agree to:
Provide accurate, complete and current information;
Keep your login details confidential;
Use only one account unless we approve otherwise;
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access;
Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account; and
Avoid sharing your account or course access with another person.
We may suspend an account when we reasonably believe it has been shared, compromised, used fraudulently or used in violation of these Terms.
4. Course enrolment and access
Course access begins after successful enrolment, payment confirmation or another form of approval stated on the course page.
Access periods may vary by course. A course may provide:
Time-limited access;
Access for as long as the course remains available;
Lifetime replay access; or
Access subject to continued compliance with these Terms.
Where we use the words “lifetime access,” this means access for as long as Aces Academy continues to host and support that particular course. It does not guarantee that a course, platform or feature will remain available for the learner’s entire natural life.
We may update, reorganize, replace or improve course lessons and resources where this does not materially reduce the essential value of the course.
5. Payments and pricing
Course prices are displayed in Nigerian naira or another currency shown at checkout.
You agree to:
Pay the amount displayed before confirming your order;
Provide accurate billing information;
Use a payment method you are authorized to use; and
Pay any applicable bank, payment-processing or currency-conversion charges.
Payments may be processed by independent payment providers. We do not directly store complete card information.
Prices, promotions and discounts may change. A later price change will not normally affect an order that has already been completed.
We may correct obvious pricing or description errors. If such an error affects a completed purchase, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option, which may include confirmation at the correct price or a refund.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Any course-specific refund or cancellation conditions will be displayed on the relevant course, offer or checkout page.
Where no separate refund period is stated, you may contact us within seven days of payment to request a review, provided that:
A substantial part of the course has not been accessed, watched or downloaded;
You have not received significant mentorship or personalized support;
You have not downloaded substantial course resources;
You have not abused a promotional offer; and
The request is not fraudulent.
Refund requests are reviewed individually and must be sent to academy@acesdigital.tech with your name, payment reference, course and reason for the request.
We may deduct reasonable charges for services already supplied where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section removes or limits any cancellation, refund or consumer right you may have under applicable Nigerian law. Where the law requires a refund or remedy, the applicable legal requirement will prevail.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
7. Live classes and mentorship
Where your package includes live classes or mentorship:
Class dates and times may occasionally change;
You are responsible for having a suitable device and internet connection;
Missed sessions may not be rescheduled individually;
A recording may be provided where stated, but recording availability is not guaranteed unless included in the offer;
Mentorship does not mean that an instructor will complete assignments or client work for you;
Support must be requested through approved communication channels; and
Response times may vary outside stated support hours.
We may remove a participant from a live class or community for harassment, abuse, disruption, threats or other inappropriate behaviour.
8. Hosting, domains and third-party tools
Some courses may include temporary hosting, a subdomain, domain access or third-party software.
Any free hosting or domain benefit is limited to the duration and conditions stated in the relevant offer. At the end of a free period, you may need to upgrade, renew, migrate or purchase your own service.
You are responsible for backing up websites, files and projects created during training.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, pricing and technical limitations. These services may include hosting providers, WordPress, Elementor, Google, Zoom, WhatsApp, payment processors and other software platforms.
Aces Academy is not responsible for an outage, policy change, suspension, price change or discontinuation caused by an independent third-party provider.
9. Educational purpose and results
Our courses are provided for educational and informational purposes.
We aim to provide practical, useful instruction, but we do not guarantee:
Employment;
Freelance clients;
Business income;
Specific earnings;
Search-engine rankings;
Professional certification;
Particular commercial results; or
Mastery within a specific period.
Your results depend on factors including your effort, participation, experience, available time, market conditions and implementation.
Examples, testimonials and student outcomes are illustrations and not guarantees that every learner will obtain the same result.
10. Certificates
A certificate may be issued where it is included in the course and the learner satisfies the stated requirements.
A certificate from Aces Academy confirms participation or completion. It is not a university degree, government licence or regulated professional qualification unless expressly stated otherwise.
We may refuse or withdraw a certificate obtained through fraud, impersonation, plagiarism or failure to satisfy the applicable completion requirements.
11. Intellectual property
All course videos, recordings, templates, workbooks, PDFs, graphics, prompts, website content, logos, designs and other materials supplied by Aces Academy are owned by or licensed to Aces Academy or Aces Digital.
Your enrolment gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the materials for your own learning and projects.
You must not, without written permission:
Copy or republish course materials;
Share your login details;
Record or redistribute lessons;
Upload materials to file-sharing platforms;
Sell, sublicense or commercially distribute our materials;
Reproduce a course as your own training programme;
Remove copyright notices or branding;
Use our content to train an AI model or create a competing course; or
Allow another person to access paid materials through your account.
You retain ownership of original websites, assignments and projects that you independently create, excluding any Aces Academy materials incorporated into them.
12. Acceptable use
You must not use our website, platform or community to:
Violate any law or regulation;
Commit fraud or impersonate another person;
Upload malware or harmful code;
Attempt unauthorized access to another account or system;
Harass instructors, staff or learners;
Share unlawful, discriminatory or abusive material;
Scrape or automatically extract restricted content;
Disrupt live classes or platform operations;
Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
Promote unrelated products without permission.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that you:
Breached these Terms;
Shared or resold course access;
Engaged in fraud or chargeback abuse;
Threatened or harassed another person;
Compromised the security of the platform;
Violated intellectual-property rights; or
Used our services unlawfully.
Where appropriate, we will notify you and allow you to explain or correct the issue. Serious violations may result in immediate termination.
Termination for a material breach may result in loss of access without a refund, subject to applicable consumer law.
You may stop using our services at any time. Closing an account does not automatically create a right to a refund.
14. Website availability
We aim to keep the website and learning platform available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Access may be interrupted by:
Maintenance;
Hosting problems;
Internet outages;
Security incidents;
Software updates;
Third-party service failures; or
Events outside our reasonable control.
We may temporarily suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect learners, data or the platform.
15. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that every lesson, file, third-party tool or feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, plugin or hosting environment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aces Academy and Aces Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the services, including loss of income, clients, data, opportunity or business reputation.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total liability relating to a particular paid service will ordinarily be limited to the amount you paid for that service.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or another legally protected right.
17. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for losses, claims or expenses reasonably arising from your unlawful use of our services, infringement of another person’s rights or material breach of these Terms.
This section does not require you to compensate us for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct or negligence.
18. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are explained in our Privacy Policy.
By using our website or services, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in accordance with that policy and applicable data-protection law.

Our website may link to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.
We are not responsible for the content, security, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.

21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Nigeria will have jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved informally.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where a change materially affects existing learners, we may also provide notice by email, through the student portal or by another reasonable method.
Your continued use of the services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where separate consent is legally required.
